What we receive

When ChatGPT uses Rook & Rival Chess, it sends our server the inputs for the specific tool it calls (for example the values you asked about). We do not receive your ChatGPT account details, your conversation history, or your name or email address.

What we store

Stores each game (moves, starting position, the display names the players chose, an anonymous player id and timestamps) so both players can continue it, plus a per-user list of game codes keyed by the anonymous id. Games expire 30 days after the last move. No accounts, emails or chat content are stored.

Third parties

The plugin does not send your data to any third-party service. All results are computed on our server.

We do not sell or share personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Children

The plugin is not directed to children under 13.
